It's true. I was a newly wed living in a small apartment and my walls were bare. I needed to decorate but we didn't have the money. I decided to buy some canvas and start to paint. This was affordable and I was able to brighten up our space a little bit with the paintings. I soon had our walls covered and our space felt like home. Then I decided to start selling on Etsy so that I would have the money to buy more paint, canvas, brushes, frames, etc.

Now my hobby pays for itself and helps pay the rent! It has been an amazing and fun-filled journey as I have gotten into the groove of the business.

I'm thinking its time to work on another hobby as well. Maybe sewing or wood carving? The possibilities are endless...
